How to get the most from a free, virtual, Inforum

Sep 09 2020

Every cloud has a silver lining, and while Infor’s annual  customer event, Inforum, has been cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, it has been replaced by a free virtual event – which makes it vastly more accessible to people around the world.

We have been doing a bit of digging to find out as much about the event as we can to help you get the most from it, and here are our top tips:

Make sure you register before Sept 15th

There is a lot of content, and we highly recommend registering to take up this rare chance to access everything. Here is where you register: https://inforum.infor.com/
From here you can register, access the agenda, search for interesting sessions.

Register today – watch at leisure – for 90 days

In addition to the keynotes, and live demos etc, there are over 200 break-out sessions that will be available to watch on-demand for 90 days after the event. Since Infor has many other products than Infor M3 and other supply chain products, a lot won’t be relevant, but you can cherry pick to see what you want.

Two global geographic events – register once

Inforum is a single event, and to accommodate live sessions in different time zones, there is a North America/EMEA agenda and an Asia agenda. There will be some unique content available in each but you only have to register once and you will access to everything – either live in your time zone or on-demand after the event. This means if you operate in the Asia time zone, you will still be able to see any content from the other event that is of interest to you.

View live

To view live, you log in any time during the Sept 15-16 live days:

Asia Pacific – Wednesday Sept 16 (Singapore time)
9:00-14:00 – live content
24 hour access on-demand content

North America/ EMEA – Tuesday Sept 15, Wednesday Sept 16 (East coast time)

9:00 – 17:00 Tuesday
9:30 – 14:00 Wednesday
24 hour access on demand content

Can you view things like key notes, live product demos and ask the experts after the event?

Yes you can. They will remain available for 90 days, and key note sessions will be visible by every attendee around the globe.

Over 200 sessions sounds a lot!

Yes it does, and like Inforum live event, you will be only interested in some of the product content. The good news is that there is filter on the Session Catalog page that will make it easy for you.

You can filter by industry, eg Distribution, and type of session eg Ask the Expert, and also use the search field to quickly search on related topics eg Infor M3

We hope this helps, and if you have any more questions please send them along to info@comactivity.com.au and we will try and help you out!
