Technical Project Manager

We are looking for Technical Project Manager from an ERP environment to oversee the planning, execution and successful completion of technical projects that support & complement ComActivity’s delivery guidelines resulting in customer success for our clients.

In this role you will work closely the ComActivity team members for the entire lifecycle of a project from pre-sales through project implementation.

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication abilities. The Technical Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, develop project plans in conjunction with the project managers, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes to our clients.

About the role:

As TPM you will be responsible for overall solution design:

  • Project planning and strategy and aligning project goals with ComActivity’s objectives and strategies.
  • Creation of functional/technical specifications
  • Project Execution and Monitoring to a dedicated project plan and allocating resources effectively to ensure project progress according to the defined project plan.
  • Identifying potential risks and create contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Managing the software development life cycle from requirements to development, testing and Go Live support.

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • 5+ years working on ERP software projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful project deliveries.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding or direct experience in a technical development environment
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to travel and work with teams who may be working in multiple locations.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in Infor technologies, and/or other major Supply Chain ERP applications
  • Infor H5 or ISO scripting experience
  • Agile/scrum experience

The successful candidate will be a talented multi-tasker who successfully juggles multiple priorities whilst maintaining momentum. You can maintain and control cost, schedule and quality of project activities to run on budget, time and meet agreed customer requirement.

Our teams frequently work at client sites throughout the region so you must be able to travel and effectively communicate with team-members and manage projects across multiple locations. You will have a proactive, problem-solving approach with a strong customer focus.
