Project Resource Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator/Resource Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating and scheduling project resources to ensure successful project execution. You will play a critical role in optimizing resource allocation, tracking project progress, and facilitating communication among team members. The ideal candidate should have excellent multitasking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role will report directly to the Head of Operations.

About the role:

As Project Resource Coordinator you will play a critical role in optimizing resource allocation, tracking project progress, and facilitating communication among team members.  Responsibilities include:

  • Resource allocation and scheduling including collaboration and coordination with project leaders and colleagues, developing and maintain comprehensive resource allocation plan, and monitoring resource allocation.
  • Project Coordination – serving as a central point of contact, supporting project scope and deliverable definition, and coordination of project meetings
  • Documentation and reporting – maintaining project documentation, generating regular reports, and conducting post project evaluations.
  • Stakeholder management – of all project stakeholders, including collaboration to ensure alignment of project objectives with stakeholder needs and expecations
  • Financial reporting – develop and maintain project budgets, prepare financial reports and forecasts, monitoring project spend.

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in project coordination or resource scheduling.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, and should have excellent communication and multitasking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is an Australian based role. Candidates must have full working rights and be currrently resident in Australia or New Zealand.
