Project Manager

ComActivity is seeking a talented and experienced ERP project manager to join our busy ERP consulting team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of delivering multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and retail-based systems projects to our clients which will include BAU incremental upgrades and/or full upgrades or replacements that support our client’s process digitalisation and business transformation programs.

There is also an opportunity to help further build our Project Management Office (PMO) that will ultimately include a small team of Project Managers and Technical Project Managers, so the candidate will also be responsible for mentoring other project managers on relevant project management practices, developing project roadmaps and working with key internal and external stakeholders, clients and vendors.

This role will report directly to the Head of Consulting.

About the role:

In this ERP Project Management role you will work on and deliver multiple ERP projects simultaneously. You will:

• Have the skills and experience to manage a cross functional project team.
• Plan and track projects across multiple delivery methods.
• Develop a collaborative environment that drives delivery outcomes.
• Deliver ongoing BAU incremental and continuous improvements to develop our project management discipline and governance.
• Lead and motivate the project team, providing clear direction and guidance throughout project execution.
• Monitor project progress against established plans, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, communicating updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure project tasks are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Full End-to-End project management lifecycle on large scale ERP transformation projects.
• The ability to deliver multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Have worked on large scale ERP programs of work.
• Proven Project Management and collaboration tools experience in an Agile and traditional waterfall environment.
• Proficient in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience developing integration and delivery techniques.
• Strong stakeholder and Vendor engagement and working in a SaaS environment.

This role offers flexible work-from-home options but the candidate must have the ability to travel domestically to work on our clients’ sites as required. ComActivity has permanent offices in Brisbane and Sydney.
