Product Structure Toolbox and new Product Structure Class

In previous versions of M3, users found that working in PDS001 wasn’t easy as it had hard-coded sorting orders and views.  There were also no filtering options to find sets of product structures.  Version 13 introduces the PDS001 toolbox where sorting orders and custom views can be created by the users.

In addition to this Infor have added a new grouping field called Product Structure Class into the product header to assist in managing all the different types of structures they might have, e.g. Packaging, Semi Finished assemblies, finish goods, Kits etc.

Using Product Structure Class and the PDS001 toolbox will make it a lot easier to manage a large set of product structures.
